At SCS, we’re firm believers in a holistic education, rich in the “extras” outside of academics that nurture body and soul and help children discover their passions in life. We offer both elementary and middle school students a wide variety of opportunities to participate in team sports, clubs, arts and enrichment.
Students in grades 3 to 8 are invited to participate in our Children’s Choir and to sing at the parish’s weekly Sunday Mass. Service hours are required for students in upper grades, with projects ranging from collecting food for neighborhood pantries, preparing breakfast for veterans and raising funds to assist after disasters. We’re proud that our students can and do initiate many of these efforts when they recognize a need.
Participation is encouraged in our many soccer, basketball and baseball/softball teams for both boys and girls. And many of our middle school students participate in the Spring Musical, an all-hands-on-deck extravaganza that allows students the opportunity to experience the joy of performance art.
